Technical Architect Aws

• Design, develop, and implement secure, scalable, and highly available cloud architectures on AWS to support banking and financial services applications.
• Lead cloud transformation initiatives, including migration of legacy applications, databases, and infrastructure to AWS platforms.
• Architect and implement AWS-native solutions using services such as EC2, ECS/EKS, Lambda, API Gateway, S3, RDS, DynamoDB, and CloudFront.
• Ensure cloud solutions comply with financial industry security, governance, risk, and regulatory requirements, including data protection and audit standards.
• Define and enforce cloud architecture best practices for networking, identity and access management (IAM), encryption, monitoring, logging, and disaster recovery.
• Collaborate with application development, DevOps, security, infrastructure, and business teams to deliver cloud-based banking solutions.
• Design CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) frameworks using Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar automation tools.
• Optimize cloud environments for performance, scalability, resilience, and cost efficiency while maintaining service-level objectives.
• Provide technical leadership, architecture governance, and guidance on cloud adoption strategies, modern application design, and microservices architecture.
• Monitor emerging AWS technologies and recommend innovative solutions to improve operational efficiency, customer experience, and digital banking capabilities.

Preferred Experience:

• 10+ years of IT experience with 5+ years in AWS architecture and cloud engineering.
• Experience in banking, payments, capital markets, lending, or fintech organizations.
• AWS Certified Solutions Architect (Professional or Associate) preferred.
• Strong understanding of cloud security, compliance, networking, DevOps, and containerization technologies.
