Beatrice Community Hospital Clinic Coder Revenue Cycle Job Duties: The Clinic Coder is responsible for reviewing clinical documentation and assigning accurate modifiers; and diagnosis, CPT, and HCPC codes in a Rural Health Clinic setting. This position supports compliant billing, accurate reimbursement, clean claims submission, denial prevention, and adherence to federal, state, payer and organizational coding requirements.Qualifications: High School diploma or equivalent; completion of an accredited coding, health information, medical billing, or related program preferred. Coding certification preferred, such as CPC, CCS, CCS-P, RHIT, RHIA, CCA or equivalent credential. Previous HCC coding experience preferred. Previous experience with Epic and 3M Encoder preferred. 1-3 years of clinic, professional or specialty coding experience preferred. Experience in a rural health clinic preferred.Shift Schedule: Full-time; Monday Friday, 8: 00 a.m.4: 30 p.m. Flexible scheduling available.
