This includes oversight on upkeep, repair, and improvements of property and equipment. The Maintenance Supervisor leads team members to perform maintenance work in a manner that improves equipment reliability while ensuring employee safety food safety standards are met. This person works collaboratively with production leaders to perform root cause and corrective action analyses and recommend improvements in production methods.

Lead maintenance and production teams in the resolution of issues that impact employee safety, productivity and foods safety through the use of work requests, work orders, 5S principles, and training Ensure constant regulatory compliance through action plans and effective trainings (OSHA, EPA, DNR, etc.) Monitor work requests, work scheduling, and work order completion rates and address outages as they arise Follow-up on work completed, evaluating the timeliness and accuracy of work to address issues as needed Foster effective working relationships between maintenance and other departments Engage all plant employees in collaborative efforts to resolve breakdowns and close work requests Lead development of maintenance work instructions where applicable and support maintenance training plans Develop proficiency with the use of CMMS system Conduct performance reviews with maintenance team Audit safety, quality, and environmental housekeeping procedures Perform incident investigations and file written reports and EHS alerts Provide daily work assignments to maintenance team members Maintain employee schedules to ensure coverage of all shift work Provide guidance and resources to maintenance team members to complete tasks as scheduled Other tasks as assigned
