Overview As a Field Archaeologist for Civil & Environmental Consultants, you'll work on a variety of projects including deep testing, Phase II testing, Phase III mitigation, and Phase I surveys (pipeline, coal, road). You'll have the opportunity to travel primarily in the Midwest with possibilities of covering the South and Southeast. The duration of the projects will vary from 1-7 days with some projects lasting from 20-30 days. If you enjoy the outdoors, have an inquisitive mind, and aren't afraid to get dirty, then this is the opportunity for you. Pay and compensation will be commensurate with experience.
