Job Title: Sr Recruiter (Scientific)

Length of Initial Assignment: 3-4 months (Possible Extension)

Work Arrangement Remote: 100% remote; helpful to have them near Lake Bluff, IL 60044 for in-person presence, otherwise fine to be remote.

Position Summary:

Our Talent Acquisition organization has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Recruiter to support Operations within our organization.

Top Needed for this role:

  • Bachelor's degree is required with 3-5+ years of recruitment experience in a competitive, fast-paced environment.
  • Must be familiar with scientific terminology to support hiring for roles such as scientists, principal researchers, and lab scientists. An in-depth technical background isn't required, but a basic understanding of common terms and definitions will help in ramping up effectively for this position.
  • Healthcare/Pharmaceutical industry recruitment experience is highly preferred.
  • Must project a strong business presence and can instill confidence in clients and deliver results.
  • Proactive recruiting and sourcing experience required.
  • Strong proactive communication with candidates, hiring leaders, and human resources.
  • Attention to detail - managing multiple candidates, job descriptions, and compliance requirements with accuracy.
  • Strategic talent advisor - able to make recommendations and anticipate future needs

    Experience managing requisitions within SmartRecruiters and/or Workday ATS preferred.



Responsibilities:

  • Recruitment will be focused on supporting the sub-function within Operations, PDS&T (Product Development, Science and Technology).
  • Responsible for attracting top talent and developing a strong, qualified candidate pool for current and future openings.
  • Additional duties include pre-screening candidates, project management, partnering with team members to develop sourcing strategies, and providing talent for open positions.
  • Demonstrate ability to proactively identify, source, and manage talent pools aligned to business priorities.
  • Core responsibility is to manage open job requisitions, update and manage Taleo ATS, achieve recruiting metrics, and report key accomplishments.
  • Will also compile and communicate the knowledge base, industry overviews, market trends, data, and analytics to team members and business leaders.
  • Will prepare and approve offer packages, providing equity & market competitiveness data research.
  • Ensure compliance with state/federal employment laws and policies and practices for applicant tracking compliance and reporting metrics.
  • Establish a true business partnership with hiring managers and leadership on all staffing-related activities and issues.
