Echocardiographer, Echo / Vascular Lab

Job Overview:

Echocardiographers perform echocardiograms daily on inpatients and out for all age groups.

Qualifications:

Required:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Diploma from accredited echocardiography program

Preferred:

• At least one year of relevant work experience

Certifications and Licenses Required:

• Registered Echocardiography Technician with RDCS or CCI

Scheduling Requirements:

• Available to work at least 2 weekend shifts a month

• Shift working, ranges 6:30am-7:00pm depending on the need

  • Example of weekday shifts: 7am-3:30 pm; 7:30am-4pm; 10:30am-7:00pm

  • Example of weekend shifts: 6:30am-3pm; 7am-3:30pm

• Monday-Sunday
• Per Diem (PD)

Essential Functions:

• Schedule inpatient echo around outpatient appointments
• Schedule in-patients with transport team
• Assist Cardiologist when performing TEE procedures
