We are seeking a Civil Engineer with 6 to 10 years of experience in water resources and site or land development design to join our team in Raleigh, NC. As the chosen candidate, you will play a crucial role in project management and team leadership. Drawing upon your expertise in design, construction drawing preparation, and document creation, you will contribute to various complex projects, ranging from port/cargo terminal uplands to resiliency initiatives aimed at mitigating flood-prone areas. Your responsibilities will encompass guiding projects from initial concept development to crafting construction documents, plan sets, and permit applications. These projects will span municipal and federal ventures across the southeast and Caribbean. Through our collaborative interoffice workshare program, we aim to expand your competencies in new regions. Your role will provide opportunities to work on large-scale multidisciplinary projects, utilizing project phasing plans to minimize disruptions to ongoing facility operations. Physical requirements: The position requires long periods of computer work, interacting with others and potentially attending client meetings. Some site visits may be required which may necessitate navigating unpaved or natural terrain while carrying equipment.
