Monday: 7-5 Tuesday: 8:30-5, Wednesday: 12:30-7, Thursday: 8:30-5, Friday: 8:30-12

We are seeking a dedicated Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or LPN to join our Obstetrics and Gynecology (OB/GYN) Clinic. As a vital member of our healthcare team, you will work closely with physicians, nurses, and other medical staff to provide exceptional care to our patients.

Responsibilities
  • Assist physicians during examinations and procedures in the OB/GYN department.
  • Prepare examination rooms and ensure they are clean and stocked with necessary supplies.
  • Escort patients to exam rooms, obtain medical history, and vital signs.
  • Assist with medical procedures, including pap smears, prenatal care, and minor surgeries.
  • Perform venipuncture and collect specimens for laboratory testing.
  • Provide support and comfort to patients during their visit to our practice

Qualifications

Qualifications for CMA:

  • Graduate of an accredited program for Medical Assistants.
  • Current CME certification for Certified Medical Assistant and AAMA, NCCT, NHA or AMT (RMA) certification

Qualifications for LPN:

  • Graduate of an accredited program for Licensed Practical Nurses.
  • Current license to practice nursing in the State of Iowa/Illinois for Licensed Practical Nurse.

Qualifications forLPN or CMA:

  • Mandatory Reporter certification
  • Meets educational/competency requirements per policy.
  • Previous clinical experience in a medical office preferred.
  • Computer data entry experience.
  • Mandatory Reporter certification.
  • CPR certification.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Strong computer skills.
  • Ability to work as a team member.
  • Ability to understand and apply guidelines, policies and procedures
  • Able to write, read, comprehend and speak fluent English.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Previous clinical experience in a medical office preferred
