Position: Manager of Fulfillment Technology

Location: Gardner, KS (100% On-Site)

Job Description:

Are you a tech-savvy visionary with a passion for optimizing operations? Excelligence is seeking a dynamic and forward-thinking Manager of Fulfillment Technology to lead the charge in transforming our fulfillment systems. In this pivotal role, you'll blend your deep technical expertise with a hands-on approach to oversee the selection, implementation, and continuous enhancement of our cutting-edge fulfillment technologies. What You'll Do:

Tech Innovator:



  • Lead the charge in selecting, implementing, and managing advanced fulfillment technologies, including Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), order-picking robots, and high-speed conveyor systems.
  • Ensure these technologies are not just operational but are continuously upgraded to stay ahead of the curve.


Data Dynamo:



  • Dive into the data generated across our fulfillment processes to uncover hidden bottlenecks and inefficiencies.
  • Turn insights into action by implementing innovative solutions that optimize our workflows and enhance overall performance.


Automation Architect:



  • Seamlessly integrate new and existing technologies, creating a cohesive and efficient fulfillment ecosystem.
  • Identify and deploy automation opportunities to boost speed, accuracy, and efficiency in our operations.


Collaboration Champion:



  • Partner closely with our warehouse operations teams to understand their needs and challenges, ensuring our tech solutions truly serve the frontlines.
  • Work hand-in-hand with IT teams for flawless technical integration and ongoing support.
  • Maintain strong relationships with vendors to stay on top of the latest trends and innovations.


Project Maestro:



  • Take the lead on technology-related projects, driving them from concept to completion on time and within budget.
  • Craft and manage detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets to ensure success.


Training & Support Guru:



  • Empower our warehouse staff with comprehensive training and support on all fulfillment technologies.
  • Develop and enforce standard operating procedures for technology usage and maintenance, ensuring consistent excellence.



What You'll Need:



  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Experience: Proven track record in managing and implementing warehouse or fulfillment technologies, with a strong grasp of WMS and automation.
  • Skills: Analytical powerhouse with the ability to translate data into actionable insights. Exceptional project management abilities. Strong collaborator and communicator who can work effectively across teams.
  • Tech-Savvy: Deep knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), automation technologies, and seamless integration processes.
