Position Title: Senior Plant Operator Position Type/ Shift: Part-Time, 30 hours Weekly, Rotating Shift 2:00pm - 10:00pm and 10:00pm to 6:00am Position Summary: The Senior Plant Operator operates and maintains Central Power Plant (CPP) steam generators, steam turbines, electrical chillers and auxiliary machinery. Oversees the work of the Jr. Plant Operator. This work is performed under general supervision, following standard procedures and using the tools and techniques of power plant operation and maintenance technology. Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Successful completion of formal training in Boiler, Cooling Tower, Chiller, Pump, and Motor operation and maintenance at a vocational or technical school, college, or apprenticeship sponsor organization. Successful completion of applicable continuing education, equivalent to one additional year of training. Work Experience: 5 years total related work experience. Required Licensure, Certification: Current, valid First (1st) Class Operating Engineer license. Salary Range: Minimum [[CustSalaryMin per hour - Maximum [[CustSalaryMax per hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.
