This new position will serve as an essential link between accurate facilities data and effective campus planning. The Campus Facilities Auditor will contribute to the overall maintenance and improvement of our university's infrastructure while ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for all occupants. This role primarily involves conducting comprehensive audits of our university's buildings, including verifying square footage, counting fixtures in the bathrooms, and identifying the types of flooring used.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough audits of all university buildings to verify square footage.
  • Accurately count and document the number of fixtures in the bathrooms of each building.
  • Identify and record the types of flooring materials used throughout the campus.
  • Collaborate with the facilities management team to update and maintain accurate records of the campus facilities.
  • Assist in identifying any maintenance or repair needs observed during audits.
  • Utilize spreadsheets and Microsoft Office to organize and analyze data collected during audits.
  • Communicate findings and recommendations to the appropriate departments for further action.
  • Maintain a professional and friendly demeanor while interacting with university staff, faculty, and students.
Required Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent. Possess practical organizational skills, attention to detail, thoroughness, and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, strong attention to detail, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with the facilities management team are essential. Analytical skills and adaptability for various building environments, coupled with professionalism and excellent customer service, are also critical for the role, as the candidate will conduct thorough floor square footage, fixtures, and flooring types and identify maintenance needs while maintaining accurate records and effectively communicating findings and recommendations to management.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree with a preference for previous experience in building audits or related roles. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, strong attention to detail, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with the facilities management team are essential. Analytical skills and adaptability for various building environments, coupled with professionalism and excellent customer service, are also critical for the role, as the candidate will conduct thorough floor square footage, fixtures, and flooring types and identify maintenance needs while maintaining accurate records and effectively communicating findings and recommendations to management.

Salary

$37,440 + depending on qualifications

Working Conditions

Office environment and occasional exposure to adverse weather conditions and hazards during building audits.

Work Shift

40 hours/week
Monday through Friday 5:00 p.m - 2:00 a.m.

Employment Eligibility:
