Position Summary Under the supervision of the Sports & Recreation Manager's leadership, the Sports and Recreation Lead will support the youth sports leagues at the Kroc Center. They will serve as the head coach for Sports & Recreation sessions, will ensure the safety and well-being of players while they are in our care, will assist the Sports and Recreation manager, and ensure prompt and courteous customer service. Essential Functions
Working Conditions Ability to walk, stand, bend, squat, climb, kneel and twist on an intermittent or sometimes continuous basis. Perform all physical aspects of the position, including being mobile, bending, reaching, and lifting up to 50 pounds at a time. Ability to grasp, push, pull objects such as files, file cabinets drawers and reach overhead. Ability to operate computer, fax and telephone. May be exposed to verbal outbursts, physical actions or bodily fluids as part of the environment. Work environments range from quiet work areas to busy, noisy indoor and outdoor spaces with several groups talking amongst themselves concurrently. Must be able to actively participate in youth games/activities. Minimum Qualifications
Skills, Knowledge & Abilities
Education
High School or Equivalent (required)
Experience
Prior Experience Playing/Coaching At Least One Of The Following Sports: Basketball, Soccer, Football, Volleyball. (required)
