As the Information Specialist, you will:




  • Be the first point of contact for community members engaging Suburban Hospital, this person must represent the hospital with a friendly, helpful, and positive attitude.
  • Be responsible for answering and processing calls that come into the hospital.
  • Be responsible for providing continuous telecommunications and safety monitoring support for the hospital.



Part time (30 hours per week)

Rotating Shift - Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, and some Wednesdays from 9:30am to 6pm. Some Saturdays and Sundays from 3:30pm to 11pm or as needed.

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS/PREFERENCES:




  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • College coursework in business management or healthcare field desirable.



EXPERIENCE/REQUIREMENTS:

Allied health and/or customer service background preferred.

Salary Range: Minimum 18.00 per hour - Maximum 23.52 per hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.

In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
