  • Pay: Class D for $17.50 subject to change!

  • Seasonal: This position is available from Mid-November to Late March, aligning with our winter ski and summer bike seasons. Seasonal work involves temporary employment tied to specific times of the year

You'll operate powerful groomers, bulldozers, graders, loaders, and backhoes to shape snow and dirt for epic skiing surfaces, road construction, and building projects. Master cranes and boom trucks for exciting mountain tasks, and keep the resort running smoothly with dump trucks, plow trucks, and cinder spreaders. Job Responsibilities:

Operate groomers, bulldozers, graders, loaders, and backhoes to prepare snow and dirt surfaces for roads, buildings, and skiing areas. Use cranes, boom trucks, dump trucks, plow trucks, and cinder spreaders for mountain operations, including road treatment and equipment transportation.

  • Operate snow grooming equipment with various attachments to ensure optimal surface quality.
  • Use heavy machinery (e.g., bulldozers, graders, loaders) for construction, maintenance, and terrain preparation.
  • Manage road construction, erosion control, and drainage.
  • Assist and oversee contractor work on projects.
  • Perform daily equipment inspections, maintenance, and keep logs.
  • Follow company, manufacturer, and safety protocols.
  • Adapt to changing conditions and weather, adjusting equipment and schedules as needed.


Driving:

  • Have a valid Driver's license and ability to pass the Snowshoe Driving Program


Education:

  • High School Diploma or GED


Preferred Experience:

  • Prior heavy equipment or grooming experience - 1.5 years
  • Minimum of Class D COL and crane operators' certification preferred
