Echocardiograph Tech Reg

Job Overview:

Pediatric Cardiology is seeking an Echocardiograph Tech to perform adult and pediatric echocardiographic studies including M-mode, 2-D, Doppler and Color Flow Imaging. Is responsible for reporting identified safety issues such as hazardous environments (i.e. damaged floors/walls/ceiling tiles/unsecured areas) and medical errors, etc.

Qualifications:

Required:

• High School Graduate
• Echocardiographer must be board eligible at time of hire
• BLS
• Pediatric experience
• Experience in Cardiac ultrasound; M-mode, 2-D, Color Flow Imaging, and TEE
• Experienced in diagnostic care procedures
• 1-3 years Diagnostic Cardiac testing, CPR

Preferred:

• Bilingual (English and Spanish)

Certifications and Licenses Required:

• American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) certification must be obtained within 18 months of hire

Scheduling Requirements:

• Shift working, 8:30am - 5:00pm
• Monday - Friday
• Full Time
• May require travel to West Orange location
