About the Job

Job Duties/Responsibilities:
* Conduct independent research under the mentorship of senior investigators, focusing on cancer cellular immunotherapy. (20%)

* Design and execute experiments to investigate mechanisms of immune resistance in cancer cells and develop strategies to overcome these barriers. (20%)

* Utilize advanced cellular and molecular techniques to develop novel immunotherapy for enhanced anti-tumor activity. (20%)

* Perform in vitro and in vivo studies to evaluate the efficacy and safety of experimental immunotherapies. (20%)

*Analyze and interpret experimental data using statistical methods and present findings at internal meetings and scientific conferences. (20%)

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:
Ph.D. in Immunology, Cell Biology, Cancer Biology, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications:
* Strong background in cancer biology and immunology, with expertise in cellular immunotherapy techniques (e.g., CAR-T cell therapy, TCR-engineered T cells, NK cell therapy).
* Hands-on experience with molecular biology techniques, flow cytometry, and animal models of cancer.
* Track record of productivity demonstrated by first-author publications in peer-reviewed journals.
* Motivation to pursue independent research projects and contribute creatively to scientific discovery.

Pay and Benefits

Pay Range: $61,008 (Year 0) - $74,088 (Year 7); depending on education/qualifications/experience, per NIH Guidelines.
