This process ensures that insurance verification, obtaining referral/authorization, obtaining precertification (when applicable), financial work-up, and documentation of notes are obtained for inpatient and outpatient services. The CSS will assist in maintaining financial records according to departmental protocol. The CSS will provide patients with educational material and physician information when required. Education: High school diploma (or GED); technical training; BS/BA degree preferred. Work Experience: 1 - 2 years realated medical office, hospital, medical call center or similar customer service environment. Important Notices: ***Effective January 1st 2022, you must be fully vaccinated with an FDA COVID-19 vaccination and provide proof of your vaccination status as part of your occupational health screening. Exceptions to the COVID-19 vaccination requirement may be granted to individuals for religious beliefs or medical reasons by following the proper protocols.
