The Transplant Nurse Coordinator for the Post Kidney and Pancreas Tranplant Service supports patients after transplantation through monitoring required testing, providing education and ensuring that internal and external activities are coordinated. Other responsibilities include assessment of patient health status through diagnostic procedures and tests, review of labs and other clinical indicators, working closely with other members of the comprehensive transplant team. Provides patient care based on the nursing process, mentors others to promote quality and excellence of care works collaboratively with and provides leadership for a multi-disciplinary health care team to optimize performance, collects and maintains data required for patient care, research and reporting to outside agencies.

Qualifications:




  • Bachelor's degree from Accredited Nursing Program
  • Active Maryland or Compact RN license
  • BLS CPR certification
  • 3-5 years of acute care RN work experience required; Transplant RN experience preferred

Salary Range: Minimum 43.93 per hour - Maximum 68.09 per hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.

In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
