About the opportunity
SWCA is looking for a Natural Resources Project Manager to join our Baton Rouge, LA office. The candidate chosen to fill this position will have a broad range of skills in supporting and managing our assessment, permitting and compliance efforts in the transmission, power generation, and oil and gas markets. The position requires proven experience with all phases of project management from inception to completion. This will include budget management, development including initial constraints analysis, permitting, preconstruction planning, construction, and post-construction operations and maintenance. Not only will you manage projects independently, but you will also support and be mentored by our senior project managers on large complex projects throughout all phases of a project's life-cycle. There might be opportunities to work within our other business lines, such as land development or ecological restoration, as the need arises. This is a full time, regular status position reporting to our Baton Rouge, LA office with flexibility of hybrid work environment. An employee in this Baton Rouge, LA-based position can expect an hourly rate of $27.50-35/hr for the Assistant PM role. An annual salary of $63,440k-$81,120k for the Associate PM role and $70,200k-$91k for the PM role. Actual pay within this range may depend on experience, qualifications, geographic location, client requirements where applicable, and other factors permitted by law. Regular-status employees are also eligible for performance bonuses.
