Design & Structural Analysis - Engineer new bridge projects, ensuring compliance with all standards and regulations.
• Engineering Software Mastery - Utilize Midas Civil, LEAP Bridge Enterprise, L-Pile, LEAP Bridge Steel, Erikson Culverts, and MathCAD for design and analysis.
• Precision Engineering - Perform independent calculations for reinforced, prestressed concrete, and steel structures, creating and modifying structural models as needed.
• Project Documentation - Develop bridge plans, specifications, cost estimates, and material quantities with accuracy and efficiency.
• Collaborate & Innovate - Work with multidisciplinary teams, including CADD technicians, to ensure seamless project execution.
• Stay Ahead of the Curve - Keep up with industry trends, tools, and techniques to drive innovation in bridge engineering.
• Engage & Present - Communicate effectively with team members, stakeholders, and clients, delivering solutions with confidence.

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering (BSCE)
• Engineer-in-Training (EIT) Certification is required.
• 2+ years of engineering experience , specifically in designing bridge projects.
• Proficiency with MicroStation and AutoCAD.
• Strong understanding of structural behavior and mechanics of materials.
• Ability to independently and accurately complete engineering calculations for reinforced and prestressed concrete and steel structures.
• Experience in developing bridge plans, coordinating markups with CADD technicians, assembling/writing specifications, and developing quantities and cost estimates.
• Mid-level proficiency with Microsoft Office software applications, including MS Project.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master's Degree in Structural Engineering is preferred.
• Experience in bridge design on Idaho Transportation Department (ITD) projects is a plus.
• Load rating experience is a plus.
• Familiarity with engineering software packages such as Midas Civil, LEAP Bridge Enterprise, L-Pile, LEAP Bridge Steel, Erikson Culverts, and MathCAD is a plus.
• Understanding of seismic design principles and non-linear analysis techniques.
• Familiarity with timber and masonry design is a plus.
