The School of Engineering at Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, is seeking multiple lecturers for the Fall 2024 and/or Spring 2025 semester to teach first year introduction to engineering course sequence 14:440:101/102. The successful candidates will cover the full range of duties associated with teaching, including, but not limited to, preparing course material; teaching during the assigned course times; supervising a group of teaching and learning assistants; holding office hours and providing appropriate out-of-class time for students; responding to student e-mails; conducting and grading assessments of students through assignments, exams, and other means, in a timely manner; and submitting final grades. Course appointments may require instruction during the day, in the evenings, online, or any combination of these. |

Qualifications
Minimum Education and Experience |
* Ph.D. degree in Engineering, Engineering Education, or a related field is preferred.
* Candidates with a Master's degree and proven teaching proficiency in engineering will also be considered.
Prior college teaching experience in the course topic area is preferred. Consideration of candidates will begin immediately and continue until the positions are filled. |

* In-depth knowledge of computer programming, particularly in languages relevant to engineering applications (e.g., Python,
MATLAB).
* Hands-on experience with
