Rutgers Biomedical and Health Sciences - New Jersey Medical School Department of Pediatrics offers an opportunity for a Pediatric Intensivist (Per Diem) to join our faculty of more than 30 full-time clinicians and scientists at the Clinical Assistant/Associate Professor level. We are seeking a physician to provide patient care in the Division of Pediatric Critical Care and Pediatric Hospital Medicine and provide comprehensive evaluation and management for patients with other healthcare professionals to educate patients and their families about their conditions. In addition to patient care, the successful candidate will participate in the education of medical students and residents. The successful candidate will actively contribute to the primary missions of the Division of Pediatric Critical Care and Pediatric Hospital Medicine through accessible high quality health care, scholarly activity and education.

Qualifications


Minimum Education and Experience
MD or DO degree
Certifications/Licenses
Board certified (or board-eligible) in Pediatrics and Pediatric Critical Care. Candidate must possess or be eligible to apply for a valid NJ medical license, CDS and DEA.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Applicant must demonstrate excellence as a clinician educator.
