We are one of five programs nationwide that are researching noninvasive methods to assess patients for the potential of heart transplant rejection. Become a part of a long-standing, growing team of providers! *$20,000 Sign on Bonus and $10,000 Retention Bonus* We are looking for a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our MHVI: Heart Failure team at MedStar Washington Hospital Center. In this role, the PA/NP would work primarily in pre-transplant evaluation, intraoperative management, and post-transplant care, ensuring optimal patient outcomes throughout the transplant process. They will be a part of the overall advanced heart failure team and have access to learn from experienced providers in the program. The ideal candidate will have 2 years of experience in a critical care or cardiology setting. This inpatient position requires four 10-hour shifts per week, including some weekends and holidays.
