Primary Purpose of Organizational Unit
The Enrollment Management unit is responsible for attracting, admitting, and enrolling eligible students, in accordance with university policies. The unit facilitates the development, implementation and monitoring of academic policies, practices and procedures to meet goals related to student progression, performance, and graduation. The unit administers state, federal and institutional financial aid and scholarship programs and collaborates with other campus units in coordinating student transition initiatives that lead to positive adjustment, academic success and persistence to degree completion.
Description of Work
Multiple positions may be filled from this posting
-Recruits qualified students.
-Daily management of a geographic region.
-Participates in on and off-campus recruitment events.
-Travels extensively in the assigned region to attract qualified students at high schools and attends college fairs, student/parent events, and other programs in the assigned territory.
-Meets and communicates effectively with students, parents, high school counselors, alumni & student volunteers and faculty.
-Represents ECSU in college fairs and in the community.
-Applies related policies and regulations of the UNC System, ECSU, and the Office of Admissions.
-Serves as a regional recruiter by planning, executing and assessing all recruitment operations necessary to meet recruitment and enrollment goals within assigned territory.

-Meets and communicates effectively with students, parents, high school counselors, alumni & student volunteers, and faculty.
-Develops and strengthens relationships with high school counselors, independent counselors, community college counselors, alumni, and other key influencers in the recruitment process within assigned territory.
-Attends other scheduled meetings and/or events as requested by the Director of Admissions (or their designee.)
-Frequency and number of events subject to change to meet enrollment goals and office needs.
-Expected to hold at least two private visits each day, 4 days a week (high schools/middle schools).
-Disseminate information on the enrollment process.
-Conducts extensive outreach and conversation-building activities (ie via in-person communication, phone, e-mail, written correspondence, and social media) with prospective students and their families throughout the recruitment funnel.
-Performs other related duties and projects as assigned.
Competencies/Knowledge Skills, and Abilities Required in this Position
Bachelor's degree.

Excellent interpersonal relations skills;

Ability to professionally communicate -both written and oral;

Driver's license and vehicle required.
License or Certification Required by Statute or Regulation
