Description of Work
Continuous Posting - Multiple Positions may be filled from this posting. **
Adjunct faculty are needed to teach General Education English courses (Composition and World Literature surveys). Priority will be given to candidates that are able to teach face-to-face courses in Elizabeth City, North Carolina, but online teaching opportunities may also be available.
Competencies/Knowledge Skills, and Abilities Required in this Position
Minimum requirements include a Master's Degree with 18 hours in English.
Possess strong interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate with a wide range of individuals and constituencies.
Must be committed to excellence in student learning and the ability to promote student's ability to succeed in a multicultural and global community.
Online instruction at Elizabeth City State University requires documented familiarity with online instruction through Blackboard and willingness to take mandated university training.
