Why Choose Our Nurse Residency Program?

What You'll Do

Assess & Plan: Perform initial and ongoing patient assessments based on diagnosis and care needs.

Deliver High-Quality Care: Utilize the nursing process to plan, perform, delegate, and evaluate care.

Follow Best Practices: Provide care in alignment with the Missouri Nurse Practice Act, the Code of Ethics for Registered Nurses, and regulatory standards.

Stay Engaged: Participate in professional development activities and unit-specific growth opportunities.

Minimum Requirements - Do You Check These Boxes?

Education: Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited nursing program.

Licensure: A current Missouri RN license before starting the NRP. New graduates must pass the NCLEX-RN within 90 days of graduation.

Experience: Graduate Nurse or Registered Nurse with less than 1 year of experience (from graduation to hire date) and no prior work in an acute care setting.

Certifications: Current Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers upon hire.
