Position Summary:



MTA is pleased to be expanding our learning center for the 2024-25 school year as part of our strategic growth. We are seeking an energetic, well-rounded learning specialist to provide direct academic support for students in 9th - 11th grades, focused on our college preparatory curriculum.



Experience & Educational Background:




  • Previous experience working with high school-aged students
  • relevant degrees preferred.



Skills & Competencies:



The qualified candidate will:



  • Provide instruction in student skills such as time management, organization, and effective studying,
  • Be able to communicate effectively with students, parents, and faculty,
  • Be able to make use of appropriate technology and websites to preview and review material with students,
  • Be well-versed in strategies for developing student engagement and independence.



Salary Range:



$60,000 - $75,000
