SUMMARY The Director- Chief Anesthetist supervise, administer and manages Grady Health System OR Anesthesia, PAT Clinic, and Camp Creek Anesthesia Service. Responsible and accountable for administrative, to include budget and personnel management, organizational, clinical, operational and educational leadership. Provides 24/7 leadership and management in the areas of customer satisfaction, provision of safe and effective care, finance, human resources, communication, performance improvement/quality, and professional development. Responsible for establishing, enforcing, and evaluating structures, processes and outcome standards, policies/procedures, and services for the department. QUALIFICATIONS Masters Degree in Anesthesia Experience of administration of commonly accepted techniques of general and regional anesthesia for at least a period of five (5) years. Must be thoroughly knowledgeable and competent in all agents and techniques of current anesthetic, and an acceptable working knowledge of the policies and practices of the department and hospital. Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) Registered Nurse in State of Georgia Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Basic Life Support (BLS) EOE-Females/Minorities/Protected Veterans/Individuals with Disabilities.
