Wound, Ostomy and Continence RN (WOC)

Job Description:

PRN, Days

Responsible for promoting high quality patient care through clinical care, consultation, and patient education, integrating clinical research findings in daily practice. Role includes working with clinical staff to assure high quality, individualized care for patients with wound, skin, and continence needs. Coordinates plan of care with healthcare team for each patient.

Minimum Education, Experience, Training, and Licensures Required:

• Registered Nurse, B.S.
• Kentucky License
• Certified Wound Ostomy & Continence Nurse; must be willing to achieve as soon as possible if not met
• Minimum of two years experience in nursing
• Experience in education preferred
• Must be willing to achieve and maintain WOCN certifications
