Description
- Monitor and analyze the company's daily cash position to cover cash commitments and coordinate/optimize the short-term borrowing or investments, or assist in the execution of the daily cash management duties
- Manage cash flow, income, liability obligations and assets
- Pool cash from all secondary bank accounts when necessary
- Adhere to month-end cut-off schedules for reconciliations of all debt-related accounts, all month-end processes, and all related journal entries
- Assist in executing standby letters of credit, export letters of credit, performance bonds and similar instruments
- Prepare daily, weekly and monthly reports on the company's cash and debt position
- Assist with the company's hedging program
- Perform data integrity and data analytics on treasury processes
- Assist with risk management by identifying/recommending strategies to minimize interest rate and commodity exposures
- Provide information in connection with the external and internal audits and monitor debt activities to ensure compliance
- Develop, monitor and analyze bank fees including credit card and cash management expenses
- Assist in maintaining debt records and legal documentation
- Work with treasury management to maintain and rationalize the company's choice of key banks including the data analysis of bank fee structures, services, relationships, credit levels and counterparty credit quality/exposure
- Assist other departments (e.g., audit, accounting) with quarter-end and ad-hoc information requests as needed
- Work with company's business units to prepare weekly cash forecasts and other cash and borrowing projection models; coordinates with teams to identify and mitigate forecasting variances
- Support accounting, tax, financial planning, internal audit and other functions as they relate to Treasury transactions
- Work with FP&A on developing operating cash flow forecasts, enhance visibility into cash balances, optimize working capital and establish metrics/key performance indicators
- Prepares journal entries related to treasury and/or finance and assists with the verification of recorded transactions to ensure appropriateness, accuracy and validity
- Reconciles ledger accounts affecting treasury/debt and participates as a team member in the monthly and annual general ledger closing processes of AECC and AECI
- Assist with presentation material for investors, rating agencies or the Board of Directors, as needed
- Extract data related to debt functions, set up processes to make data analysis more efficient
- Analyze and interpret trends from debt related data and report trends, to add business value

Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Statistics, Computer Science or related field, MBA preferred, plus six years of experience (2-5 years corporate treasury experience preferred) or equivalent combination of education and experience. PREFERRED CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS CTP or CFA or CDP ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
- Ability to quickly understand complex transactions
- Excellent written, verbal, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel and Power BI
- Knowledge of the banking industry and technical knowledge of bank products
- Strong financial modeling and knowledge of financial instruments
- Ability to multi-task, well-organized, detail oriented and work collaboratively
