Job Overview

On a part-time limited basis, the Adjunct Faculty member's primary academic functions include teaching, discovering, creating, and reporting knowledge to a diverse set of studentsin Georgia.

Essential Functions

  • Maintain effective and timely communication with students and lead course faculty throughout the course.
  • Evaluate student achievement of course objectives and submit grades within the parameters and timelines established.
  • Participate in the course and teacher effectiveness evaluation process.
  • Participate in faculty meetings.
  • Report and be accountable to course coordinator.
  • Orientation and scheduled meetings with faculty are mandatory

  • Master's prepared in the area that you are teaching and prior academic experience. If filling a nursing specialty area, you must have a current Georgia RN license; otherwise, if applicable, an active license in your area of teaching is required.
  • We are seeking to hire a person who resides in Georgia and is licensed as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner.

Required Education

  • Master's prepared in the area that you are teaching and prior academic experience. If filling a nursing specialty area, you must have a current Georgia RN license; otherwise, if applicable, an active license in your area of teaching is required.
  • We are seeking to hire a person who resides in Georgia and is licensed as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner.

Application Process

As part of the application process, applicants are required to submit a current Curriculum Vitae (CV) which includes both month and year of education and work experience. Applications will not be reviewed if CVs are not in the required format. This is in accordance with the Ohio Board of Nursing Guidelines.

Official transcripts are required during the hiring process. Per the Ohio Board of Nursing guidelines, transcripts should be provided for all nursing higher education degrees obtained which may include Associates Degree, Bachelors Degree through higher levels as applicable.
