Position Highlights: * Position: Mental Health Associate I * Location: Naperville, IL. * Full Time/Part Time: Part Time/ Evening Shift (3:00 PM-11:30PM) * Hours: 20 Hrs/Week The Mental Health Associate provides direct patient care to patients with behavioral health disorders.Participates in treatment planning and implementation. Facilitates groups within assigned treatment programs. Documents according to department/organization procedures. Ensures the safety and well-being of these patients by maintaining a safe milieu. What you will need: * A Bachelor's Degree or higher in a Behavioral Health related field, no previous experience orA Bachelor's Degree or higher in a non-Behavioral Health related field, a minimum of one year of behavioral health experience * Maintain information as highly confidential * Ability to maintain professional boundaries and willingness to seek supervision Experience Preferred: * Familiarity with medical and psychological terminology * Skills in teaching or assisting with activities of daily living. * Prior experience with therapeutic limit-setting and milieu management Education and/or Experience Required: * A valid driver's license is required if the incumbent is selected to perform related duties at an off-site location.
