The Department of Radiology at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine seeks a full-time radiology faculty member to join the Division of Neuroradiology. Applicants must be ABR certified, subspecialty certified or eligible, completed a Neuroradiology fellowship at an accredited program, and eligible to obtain an unrestricted Illinois medical license. Excellent clinical skills are a prerequisite in this high-volume department. Preference will be given to applicants with a demonstrated interest in an academic career, excellent interpersonal skills, and a CV that reflects potential as an academic radiologist.

The successful candidate will find a wealth of clinical, teaching, and research opportunities at their disposal. The work schedule is flexible. The case mix is excellent. High-level referring clinical services include well-known brain tumor, neurology, spine, and otolaryngology specialists. There is a full availability of interventional neuroradiology procedures. High-level trauma and rehabilitation are parts of the practice as we are affiliated with the world-renowned Shirley Ryan Ability Lab. We also have ENT radiology and functional neuroimaging subsections in the division of neuroradiology. For research, there are high-level labs in the new, adjacent Simpson Querrey Institute, as well as extensive opportunities for collaboration with PhDs and proximity to Evanston with a full research university.

The Department of Radiology faculty provides clinical services to patients at Northwestern Memorial Hospital (NMH) and its Northwestern Medicine affiliates. NMH is a state-of-the-art tertiary medical center in the North Michigan Avenue area of Chicago which is located near the Gold Coast and Lake Michigan, is the primary teaching hospital of the Feinberg School of Medicine, and is the academic center of the Northwestern Medicine network of regional hospitals and outpatient centers.
