Your Role As a Gensler Designer within the Interiors Studio, you will collaborate with our Design Directors to develop design solutions as well as coordinate the design through the construction documentation phase of a project. You will be successful because you are proficient in translating a Senior Designer or Design Director's sketches and documents into realized2D/3Dmodels and images and have the ability to research artistic and/or technical issues when they arise. What You Will Do Participate in all project phases, including conceptual design, presentations, schematic design, design development, construction documents and construction administration. Collaborate with design team, clients, consultants, contractors, fabricators, regulatory agencies and other vendors to meet overall project objectives Produce graphic presentations, 3D renderings, and construction drawings Utilize hand rendering techniques to communicate design concepts Create FF&E selections and specifications and monitor schedules and installation. Your Qualifications Bachelor's degree in interior design, architecture or foreign equivalent 5 + yearsof related project experience Proficiency in modeling using 2D/3D software, such as CAD, Revit, Octane, 3dViz, 3dsMAX, and/or Rhino utilizing V-Ray Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) and/or SketchUp Knowledge of relevant building codes and accessibility requirements State licensure and LEED accreditation a plus Knowledge of Building Information Modeling (BIM) and parametric design software, including Grasshopper, a plus The base salary will be estimated between $72K- $92K plus bonuses and benefits and contingent on relevant experience.
