Mechanic Levels I, II, III and Lead positions available

Responsibilities you and your team will be trusted with

  • Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, HVAC, and/or electrical discrepancies on various Ground Support Equipment (GSE) systems and subsystems.
  • Bring equipment back to life! Repair, rebuilt/overhaul components, such as mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, HVAC, and hydraulic systems. - sorry no Transformers, it didn't work out so well for the world last time.
  • Disassemble components, inspect for quality factors, and reassemble to engineering specifications.
  • Keeping the environment safe - follow and encourage regulatory commissions, OSHA compliances and EPA regulations.
  • Professional interaction with internal and external customers.



Your areas of expertise and skills that matter the most for this role

  • 3+ years of service repair experience in hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, and industrial skills. Experience with PLC and HVAC is a plus.
  • Experience repairing and maintaining Mobile Heavy Equipment and related components (diesel-powered vehicles a plus).
  • GSE experience is a plus
  • Basic knowledge/performance of corrosion control utilizing proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
  • Experience using repair manuals, wiring (electrical) diagrams, and schematics (electrical and hydraulic) to troubleshoot and/or rebuild failed components.
  • Strong, not the Hulk or Arnold Schwarzengger strong but the ability to lift 50lbs stand, push, pull, squat, bend, kneel, climb, and work in awkward positions and tight areas.
  • Ability to work in all weather conditions.



Complimentary skills to have

  • You will interact with customers so good written and verbal communication is key
  • Legally eligible to work in the United States. Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Must have a valid driver's license - you will get to drive some cool equipment!
  • No travel restrictions - may get the chance to show your skills off in a different shop/state
  • Your favorite tools are also invited! Air and hydraulics tools will be provided, please bring your own tools

Salary: The expected pay rate for this position is $31.00 - $40.00 per hour. The actual pay rate offered may vary on multiple factors including, but not limited to, experience, knowledge, skills, certifications and/or location.
