PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION

Responsible for performing survey and mapping of construction measurements and advise team members during all stages of the construction project through direct surveys and layout support. EXPECTATIONS OF ALL TEAM MEMBERS High quality, professional work product performed with initiative, productivity, a positive attitude and behavior. Team members should cooperate with others in a team environment, accept direction from supervisors, follow work rules and procedures, have punctual and consistent attendance, and accept constructive feedback. Performance should meet or exceed the established standards, goals, and accountabilities of the position. KEY RESULT AREAS (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS)

A. Set up and Operate Trimble GPS equipment 1. Base station 2. SCS 900 software 3. GCS 900 4. Laser level

B. Care, cleaning and use surveying tools and equipment

C. Perform basic surveying computation and plan reading

D. Perform survey note taking

E. Survey existing conditions of proposed work sites

F. Guide new construction work through layout

G. Verify locations of structures

H. Effectively work and build relationships with those of diverse backgrounds and organizational levels

I. All other duties as assigned

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

A. Ability to operate equipment including but not limited to Base Station, SCS 900, GCS 900 and Laser level

B. Detail orientation

C. Ability to work independently

D. Active listening skills and effective communication including an openness to diverse input and feedback

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

A. Minimum one year related construction experience

B. CTS level 1 or equivalent preferred

C. Current driver's license
