Job Overview
The Project Manager leads and manages door and window installation projects from final measurement to project completion, ensuring top-level customer expectations that is encouraged and reflective of the SIW and Marvin brands. This position is the point of contact for the customer to resolve any issues that may arise. Construction experience is needed!
Highlights of your role
Ensure efficient and effective job scheduling in collaboration with the installation coordination staff, conduct final measurements for windows and doors. Turn in all vital paperwork for completed measures within two business days.
- Be detailed and punctual with appointments, documentation, and commitments. Maintain a professional appearance, positive attitude, and demeanor.
- Accurately job cost all labor rates and allocate the appropriate material amounts needed to complete projects. Enter all sizing, materials, and labor rates in our required software programs. Control inventory in warehouse.
- Review each job prior to turning into ordering department to reduce any errors. Build and supervise purchase orders with the upmost accuracy. Order all specialty products is require completing the projects
- Manage sub-contractors & field team (Installation, Stucco, Finishing, and Punchout). Visit jobsites during installation to ensure quality workmanship and job completion.
- Ensure final inspection pass rate exceeds targets and quickly resolve inspection issues
- Train new installation crews to meet SIW's and Marvin's standards for installation. Train current and new employees on measuring windows and doors.
- Handle customer issues related to installation or service and perform service appointments as needed.
- Make strategic decisions in conjunction with the Operations Manager regarding current projects
- Lead a strict process to reduce accounts receivables to 10% of prior months sales
- Assist Sale Representatives with operations issues, new deals, and technical questions.
- Assist all installation partners with questions and concerns on projects measured
- Perform additional duties as required by business needs

- High school diploma or equivalent experience.
- Valid driver's license with acceptable accident and moving violation motor vehicle record
