Demonstrates competency in setting up, operating, delivering, and discontinuing medical gas therapy, humidity therapy, aerosol therapy, hyperinflation therapy, bronchial hygiene therapy, invasive and non-invasive mechanical ventilation, emergency care/resuscitation, and airway management to patients with cardiopulmonary complications. Builds relationships with other members of the healthcare team and participates in the realization of each patient's multidisciplinary plan of care. Other duties assigned. Education/Experience: Associates Degree in Respiratory Care from a (COARC) accredited Respiratory Therapy Program. Bachelor's Degree in Respiratory Care from a (COARC) accredited Respiratory Therapy Program preferred. Required Licensure, Certification: Registered Respiratory Therapist (R.R.T.) is required of all new hires. All credentials must be maintained with active status. A.C.L.S. preferred. CPR Certification and B.L.S. required. Work Experience: Advanced Registered Respiratory Therapist level with 3 or more years of experience with demonstrated and documented competency in clinical and operational systems in a comparable RCS division. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Salary Range: Minimum 35.93 per hour - Maximum 59.32 per hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
