Colliers Site Selection Services (CSSS) impacts communities and states across the country by facilitating multi-million dollar investments and bringing inclusive economic development to thousands of people. For nearly four decades, our site selection consultants have been recognized experts in all aspects of industrial site selection, focusing on the development of manufacturing operations, distribution centers, and e-commerce facilities. Our team enables businesses to make location strategy decisions by understanding where, when, and how to allocate capital and talent. We tackle these projects by leveraging technology and experience to quantify costs and identify opportunities and risks others can't see.

The GIS Consultant position plays an integral role in helping identify the optimal location for client facilities to minimize investment and operating costs and mitigate risk. The Consultant is responsible for maintaining, updating, and innovating the INDSITE GIS-based site selection optimization model; performing computer-based site selection analyses; completing on-site and telephone labor studies in markets under consideration for client investments; and developing pro forma investment and operating cost projections for client facilities. This position will play an integral role in developing Colliers' industry leading site selection modeling tool, INDSITE.

We are looking for an experienced GIS Analyst to join our team, based out of Atlanta. This role will be responsible for identifying, cataloging, and maintaining useful data sets, creating programs that produce data visualization materials, performing geospatial analyses, and supporting brokers and clients with various Commercial Real Estate needs in the Industrial sector across the country.

What you bring

• 
  

  2-4+ years of GIS experience and/or training

  Bachelor's degree preferably in Geography, Geographic Information Systems or related degree with certification

  
  
• 
  

  Advanced proficiency in multiple GIS platforms (ESRI suite including ArcGIS Desktop and Online)

  
  
• 
  

  Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite

  
  
• 
  

  Exceptional customer service, organizational, and prioritization skills

  Proficiency with programming languages such as Python and/or JavaScript
