R&D Materials Intern - Kaukauna, WI

Job Summary:

The R&D Materials Intern will be working on a demonstration type project using the application of machine learning and artificial intelligence schemes to reduce product variant development cycle times by predicting product attributes given process and material inputs.

Job Functions:

• Implement codes to train a model by learning from an existing product datasets.
• Test model against an existing segment of the dataset.
• Create a user-friendly platform for utilization by our Product Engineering Team.
• Reads, understands and is committed to conducting business in accordance to Albany International's Business Ethics Policy. All business of the company should, at all times, be conducted ethically, fairly, honestly and with integrity.

Education Requirements: Working towards BS in Materials Science or Materials Engineering degree.
