The primary responsibility of the Payroll Coordinator is to is to successfully prepare and process weekly and bi-weekly payroll for HCW. Also responsible for all production and customer service tasks pertaining to payroll for the HCW and provides support to the healthcare facility, as well as the Sales/Billing and Accounts Receivable departments with payroll related inquiries.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
QUALIFICATIONS: * 2-3 years of payroll processing experience required * Knowledge of multi-state payroll system preferred * Understanding of state and federal payroll laws * Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite including Excel, Word, Outlook, etc. * Strong communication skills * Ability to communication fluently in Spanish Education: * High School diploma or equivalent required. * Some college preferred or any equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential functions of the job. WORK CONDITIONS: * Open work area in an office environment. * Must be able to remain in a stationary position 80% of the work schedule * Must have the ability to work in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment, while maintaining a calm demeanor anpositive attitude during stressful situations. * Employees must possess comfort in learning, training, and engaging with others virtually through Microsoft Teams and Zoom. |
