The RoleAspenTech is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Marketing Project Manager and Business Process Improvement Specialist to join our Marketing Operations team. This role will involve overseeing large-scale & cross-functional marketing initiatives from inception to completion and driving business process improvement initiatives across the marketing department and with our counterparts in other departments. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, marketing, and process optimization. Your Impact
  • Marketing Project Management:
  • Project manage large marketing initiatives, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget. Projects can include large user conferences, product launches, M&A activities and technology implementations.
  • Develop project plans, including defining scope, objectives, timelines, and resources.
  • Coordinate internal and external resources to ensure the seamless execution of projects.
  • Monitor project progress, manage risks, and address issues that arise.
  • Communicate project status and key milestones to stakeholders, including senior management, team members, and clients.
  • Conduct post-project evaluations to identify successes and areas for improvement.
  • Business Process Improvement:
  • Analyze existing marketing processes to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement.
  • Develop and implement process improvement strategies to enhance productivity and effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline workflows and improve communication, for example, lead management processes between Marketing and Sales.
  • Utilize data and analytics to measure the impact of process changes and optimize performance, assuring value to the organization.
  • Help train team members on new processes and ensure compliance with updated procedures.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to continuously improve marketing and business operations.
What You'll Need
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 4-6 years of experience in project management, marketing, or business process improvement.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent is a plus.
  • Proven experience in managing complex projects and driving process improvements.
  • Strong understanding of marketing principles and practices.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Proficient in project management software and tools (e.g., Asana, Trello, Microsoft Project).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Leadership: Ability to lead and motivate project teams, fostering a collaborative environment.
  • Strategic Thinking: Capacity to align projects and processes with broader business objectives.
  • Detail-Oriented: Keen attention to detail to ensure precision in project execution and process documentation.
  • Adaptability: Flexibility to adjust to changing priorities and project dynamics.
  • Time Management: Strong ability to manage time effectively, ensuring deadlines are met without compromising quality.
  • Communication: Clear and concise communication skills for effective stakeholder engagement.
