THE JOB:

As a plant operator, you'll take charge of the plant's daily operations, ensuring high-powered machinery runs at peak performance. You'll be at the helm, making real-time adjustments, solving technical challenges, and keeping everything running smoothly. Your role will be crucial in maintaining safety and efficiency while keeping the plant at the cutting edge of production.

SCHEDULE: 2:30PM - 11:15PM

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

  • Maintenance and Repairs: Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as inspecting and repairing electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.

  • Safety Inspections: Conduct regular safety inspections to identify and address potential hazards or compliance issues. Implement safety protocols and measures to maintain a secure and hazard-free working environment.

  • Response to Service Requests: Respond promptly to service requests and work orders for facility- related issues.

  • Communication and Collaboration: Collaborate with other maintenance staff and departments to coordinate tasks and share information.

  • Project Involvement: Assist in planning and executing maintenance schedules to enhance the overall functionality and appearance of the facility. Participate in facility improvement projects, upgrades, or renovations.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

  • Possess a valid Driver's License.

  • Has a High School Diploma or equivalent

  • Strong knowledge of mechanical systems

  • Hand-on operation and troubleshooting of machinery.

  • Can handle multiple tasks at once.

  • Flourishes in a collaborative team environment.

  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.

  • Demonstrates physical aptitude.

  • Highly skilled at addressing challenges.

  • Takes pride in their works, provides a safe environment, and maintains health standards.

Pay Rate

The typical pay for this role is:

$43.01

Should overtime be worked, employees are paid overtime pay in accordance with state requirements.
