Location:Gulf Coast Medical Center -13681 Doctor's WayFort Myers FL 33912 Department: Hospital At Home Work Type: Full Time/ Part time Shift: Days (7:00a-7:30p)/ Nights (7:00p-7:30a) Minimum to Midpoint Pay Rate:$22.34 - $29.04 / hour Summary This position will be hospital-based at the Command Center located inside of Gulf Coast Medical Center. This position will be responsible for monitoring patients vital signs and assisting with watching patients taking their medications virtually and will not be traveling to patients homes.Performs and documents selected tasks such as the administration of treatments and medications in delivery of patient care under the guidance and discretion of the registered nurse. Assist the Register Nurse in collecting health data according to established policies. Collaborates with other professional disciplines to ensure effective and efficient patient care delivery and the achievement of desired patient outcomes. Supports the organization vision and mission. Uses knowledge of patients age and cultural diversity into the provision of patient care. Contributes to the provision of quality nursing care through excellence in customer service and performance improvement techniques that demonstrate positive outcomes in patient care. Requirements Educational Requirements
Graduate of an accredited vocational school of nursing. Experience Requirements
Those that successfully complete the Lee Health LPN Internship (job code 3910) and have a signed LPN Residency Program Agreement must obtain a Registered nurse license within three years of hire. Certifications/Registration Requirements
Proof of American Heart Association Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support (BLS) current for a minimum of 90 days after hire date. 30 hour IV Course required.
