Description

  • Assists the department in developing and implementing the governance, tools, timelines, and key processes for the five-year forecast and annual budget process for both AECC and AECI.
  • Tracks AECC and AECI company-wide and departmental success metrics and completes monthly reporting of AECC and AECI and departmental variance analysis.
  • Builds and maintains AECC and AECI's long-term financial planning models and scenario-based analysis.
  • Builds relationships with key stakeholders to facilitate completeness and accuracy of budget inputs and forecast assumptions.
  • Assists with ad-hoc financial analysis as requested to evaluate the pro-forma impact of various operational actions to assist in decision-making support.
  • Manages and supports the company's forecasting and related reporting processes.
  • Executes benchmarking efforts with outside parties and researching best practices and top performance in financial metrics relative to AECC and AECI's peer companies.
  • Assists the Director of Financial Planning and Analysis with special projects as requested.
  • Exhibits poise under pressure, communicates well with senior leaders and works collaboratively with others.
  • Due to our obligation to provide continuous, reliable electric service to our customers, the ability to maintain regular and punctual attendance and the ability to work outside your regularly scheduled office hours when necessary is an essential function of the job.
  • The ability to handle stress and work well with others are essential functions of this position.
  • Performs any other related duties as required or assigned.



Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Statistics, Data Analytics, Data Science, Data Engineering or related field, plus at least six years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience. A Master's Degree or MBA is preferred. Preference for candidates with experience building advanced quantitative financial or economic models.

Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) or equivalent, Data Analytics
