Elwyn is seeking an Electrical Maintenance Supervisor to be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and repair of electrical systems within the facility. This role involves troubleshooting, fixing, and replacing electrical systems, as well as performing routine facility maintenance. The supervisor will manage a team, prioritize work orders, and ensure the smooth operation of all electrical systems. This position requires strong technical skills, effective communication, and the ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:



  • Maintain the facility's electrical systems.
  • Perform preventative maintenance (PM) according to established schedules.
  • Communicate daily via phone and email regarding maintenance issues with supervisors and staff.
  • Prioritize work orders as they are received.
  • Oversee the performance, discipline, development, and well-being of assigned team members, including coaching, goal-setting, and performance evaluations.
  • Provide back-up coverage for maintenance supervisors as needed.
  • Oversee the work activity of electrical contractors.
  • Maintain stock inventory and order materials as needed.
  • Update systems information in the computer database as they are replaced and respond to requests for information.
  • Provide on-call responsibilities for building maintenance after hours, including some weekend coverage for CRS program locations.
  • Maintain generators, maintenance records, and log sheets.
  • Accept additional responsibilities as assigned.


QUALIFICATIONS, EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:


  • 5 years' experience as a technician in the electrical service industry.
  • 3 years' experience providing supervision preferred.
  • Master Electrical License
  • Possess the ability, knowledge and skills in the electrical field.
  • Have the ability to trouble shoot, fix, and repair and or replace electrical systems as well as provides routine facility maintenance.
  • Ability to read and understand blue prints.
  • Experience working in the building trades preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Must possess excellent customer interaction and written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must have current, valid driver's license in state of residence, three (3) years driving experience, and acceptable driving record.
