Hampton Behavioral Health Center is a private behavioral healthcare center and offers the most advanced behavioral health, diagnostic treatment services for adults, adolescents and older adults in both inpatient and outpatient programs. We are currently looking for a Full Time Group Licensed Social Worker to work on our Dual Diagnose/Addiction Medicine. The Social Worker is responsible for monitoring the patient's mental and psycho-social needs and to provide the services to meet these needs in order to attain or maintain the highest practical level of physical, mental, and psycho-social well-being. The Social Worker coordinates and manages services provided to each patient to establish a focused, individualized program geared towards specific goals unique to that patient. They act as a liaison for patient, family and staff, overseeing day to day operations of all care provided to ensure successful patient outcomes. You will be responsible for clinical assessment, treatment of designated patients on assigned unit, discharge planning, participation as a member of multidisciplinary treatment team. You will use an understanding of principles of growth to assess each patient's age specific needs and provide age specific treatment and care. You will also be responsible for conducting individual, family and group therapy by encouraging open communication and verbalization of feelings in an attempt to increase self - awareness and identify and resolve problems.

Qualifications

Requirements

  • Master's Degree in Social Work and licensure as a social worker in the State of New Jersey required.
  • Experiencce with Dual Diagnose and/or Addiction Medicine Perferred
  • Minimum of 1-2 years clinical expertise in individual, group, family and marital therapy.
  • Previous experience in case management discharge planning; psychiatric inpatient experience preferred; strong writing and communications skills.
