Are you an experienced Dietetic Technician? Then we have a great opportunity for you at Johns Hopkins Hospital! Position Summary: The Lead Dietetic Technician is an integral part of the nutrition care team. Under the guidance of the Pediatric Formula Room Supervisor, the Lead Dietetic Technician will assist in areas of responsibility including, but are not limited to, training new technicians, ensuring accuracy of formula room inventory, and assisting with the maintenance of formula room standards in sanitation. The Lead Dietetic Technician will also perform clinical duties under the guidance of the Registered Dietitians and has responsibilities in the following assigned areas: interviewing patients, performing anthropometric measurements, calculating nutrient intakes, educating patients and families on specific diets, monitoring food quality and meal acceptance, and preparing formula and breast milk fortification along with other duties as assigned. Documents patient care notes in electronic medical record (POE). Educational Requirements: Associates Degree or successful completion of a Dietetic Technician Program approved by the American Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics is required. Bachelor's degree in Nutrition preferred. Required Licensure: ServSafe certification required within 3 months of hire. Knowledge/Skills:

Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.
