IMEG Corp. is growing, and we'd love to have you join our team! We are currently seeking a Civil - Transportation Intern in our Rockford, IL office.

  • Assist with design portions of a project related to discipline systems according to code andIMEG standards
  • Working under close supervision with Land Surveyors, Construction Inspectors, Engineers and Design Technicians
  • Ability to read and interpret construction plans and documents
  • Ability to compute quantities and verify measurements and layouts
  • Document scanning
  • Other duties assigned by the employer

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Good organizational skills with strong attention to detail; able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to work as part of a team and interact with all project stakeholders
  • Previous experience with AutoCad, Civil 3D, Microstation or ArcGIS is desired
  • Proficient with MS Office (Excel & Word)
  • Valid driver's license is required

Education and Experience

  • Completed Sophomore year towards bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
  • Prior internship experience with Civil Engineering Design, Construction Observation or Land Survey a plus
  • This position is not eligible for sponsorship.
