Thoracic Oncologist - Washington DC Georgetown Cancer Institute - MedStar Health

The MedStar Washington DC Georgetown Cancer Institute, integrated with the Lombardi Comprehensive Cancer Center-the only NCI-designated comprehensive cancer center in the Metropolitan Washington DC area-is recruiting a faculty member specializing in thoracic oncology. This is an optimal, academic and clinical-based position for a new graduate or experienced, attending physician.Candidates should be excellent communicators and clinicians, a collaborative contributor and have leadership qualities with a strong interest in supporting resident/medical student education. This position involves working at MedStar Washington Hospital Center, a 950-bed acute care academic medical center located in midtown Washington, D.C.

Using a multidisciplinary approach, we partner with colleagues from disciplines including pulmonology, gastroenterology, oncological surgery, radiology, and radiation oncology to develop highly individualized care plans that treat the whole patient.
